Happy New Year from Three Rooms Press!

We had a great time in 2009! Thanks for all your support. This year will be bigger and better than ever. What's on tap? A whole lot. Our motto this year is "No Fear" and we will be applying to all we do in publishing as well as performance events.

2010 PUBLISHING UPDATES
The best literature coming at you like never before. In February--a new book from Peter Carlaftes, "Drunkyard Dog" featuring collected poems and a play. Also, our first novel, "Baseball Karma and The Constitution Blues" by Ronnie Norpel. In March we'll be releasing the first collection of poetry by rising NY-based poet phenom Thomas Fucaloro. March 19 is the publication party for Maintenant 4, this year's version of the world-class Contemporary Dada Poetry Journal. And in late spring, we're set to release a new poetry collection by TRP founder Kat Georges.

2010 PERFORMANCE UPDATES
TRP is now instrumental in the weekly Son of a Pony series at Cornelia Street Cafe, with Jackie Sheeler and Kat Georges alternating as hosts of the blessed event. Upcoming readers include Ted Jonathan (of NY Quarterly) on January 8; Geoff Kagan Trenchard on January 29; and Rafaella Ciavatta on February 5. And March 19 marks the third installment of the Dada Poetry Salon, where anything can happen (and usually does).

Late January looks to be major poetry and cyber-theater event at Saval Auditorium at St. John's University in Tribeca--stay tuned for details. In spring, we're also planning New York debuts of several plays including SCUM: The Valerie Solanas Story, by Kat Georges, and Spin-Dry, a new look at celebrity rehab, by Peter Carlaftes. In addition, look for new works by award-winning playwright Larry Myers, as well as a new solo show by Jackie Sheeler. We'll also be hitting the airwaves with poetry specials on public access this spring, and are putting out feelers to start a bi-weekly variety show--details to come.

We always appreciate your input and suggestions. Post your comments here, or send them to info@threeroomspress.com.

Have a great 2010! We'll be with you all the way!
